29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: 1) On February 7, 2013, C&E Construction, LLC did not ensure that employees were protected from falls at Building 1 in the following instances: a) Where guardrails were not installed on the unprotected edge next to the ladder that employees used to access the second floor. b) Where employees were sitting a wall on the 3rd floor and were not protected by guardrails, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. C&E CONSTRUCTION, LLC (DOING BUSVINESS AS C&E FRAMING, LLC) WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD(OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 108659, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, ISSUED ON NOVEMBER 9, 2011, WITH RESPECT OT A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 10425 E. 31ST AVE., DENVER, CO.
