29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(B): Affected employees were not instructed in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure: a) On or about February 7, 2013, the employer, Community Power Corporation, did not ensure affected employees, who were required to participate in testing, troubleshooting and servicing operations on BioMax Modular Bioenergy Systems, nor other employees working in close proximity, were adequately instructed in regard to hazardous energy control procedures. 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) On or about February 7, 2013, the employer, Community Power Corporation, did not document or utilize energy control procedures and therefore, did not ensure employees, who were required to participate in testing, troubleshooting and servicing operations on BioMax Modular Bioenergy Systems, were adequately protected from hazards associated with the unexpected energizing and startup of system equipment or machinery.
