29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a) 1 Fieldcrest Avenue, Edison, NJ - SW Corner of the building: Employee performing roofing operations on a roof of 6-12 pitch with an eave height of 29 feet without approved fall protection devices.    Condition observed on or about February 13, 2013.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:    a) 1 Fieldcrest Avenue, Edison, NJ - NE Corner of the building: The ladder provided did not extend 3 feet above the working surface of the roof to allow for safe access on and off the roof.     Condition observed on or about February 13, 2013.
