29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1):     On every building or other structure, or part thereof, used for mercantile, business, industrial or storage purposes, the loads approved by the building official were not marked on plates of approved design and securely affixed in a conspicuous place in each space to which they relate.     Worksite located at 302 S.E. Highway 20, ONeill, NE:  A mezzanine being used for material storage has not been marked with the loading capacities.  This increases the potential for overloading the structure which could lead to a collapse.  There are currently items such as product overage, display racks, and unknown boxed items stored on the mezzanine.         Abatement certification is required for this violation.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.

Highway 20, ONeill, NE:  Item stored in the facility (storage area at the rear of the store) were not placed to prevent the items from falling.  In the south area the items are limited in height and are not level and plumb (securely stacked).  A storage shelf at the back of the area is coming away from the wall and the items stored on the unit are not secure to prevent them from sliding from the leaning unit. 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii):     Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws:      Worksite located at 302 S.E. Highway 20, ONeill, NE; Retail Area::  An extension cord was plugged into an outlet in the ceiling and run to an relocatable power tap.  The items were installed in this fashion to provide power to a Christmas tree display.  This type of installation allowed all of the weight of the cord and relocatable tap to be transmitted to the terminals.         Abatement certification is required for this violation.
