29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     The employer does not ensure that employees are protected from falling while working at heights greater than six feet. This violation was observed on or about February 13, 2012, when an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while installing plywood on the roof of a residential home being constructed without any means of fall protection.    Armando Perez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315783902, citation number 1 item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 05, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 27 Aventuran Pl, The Woodlands, TX 77389.    Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that all employees performing construction activities at heights greater than six feet are protected from falling.
