29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. On or about February 13, 2013 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing operations approximately seven (7) feet, eight (8) feet six (6) inches and thirteen (13) feet four (4) inches above the ground were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. MIDWEST COUNTRY CONSTRUCTION, INC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1926.501(b)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 311374953, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 11/20/2008 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 535 UNIVERSITY DRIVE, MANTENO, IL 60950. MIDWEST COUNTRY CONSTRUCTION, INC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1926.501(b)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 315238923, CITATION NUMBER 2, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JUNE 16, 2011 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 10N742 WILLIAMSBURG, ELGIN, IL 60124.
