29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iii): Employee(s) were not prohibited from belting off to an adjacent pole, structure, or equipment while working from an aerial lift: a) On or about 2/13/13, on jobsite at the Hampton Inn, 5455 Main St., Williamsville, NY: An employee was exposed to a potential fall of approx. 40 ft. and/or being crushed while replacing neon light bulbs in the sign on the front side of the building with LED's. The employee was working from the "white" basket of the 85 ft. Elliott aerial lift and was wearing a body harness with a lanyard. However, the employee was belted off to the "red" basket of an Elliott model M43 aerial lift that was elevated approx. 40 ft. and was next to the "white" basket that the employee was in. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
