29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):  Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:    a.  On or about February 14, 2013, on the roof, employees using a pneumatic air gun and a skill saw to install wood sheathing were not wearing eye protection, exposing themselves to eye injuries.

C & R Roofing Enterprises, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection313882581, Serious citation number 01, Item 002, issued on April 11, 2011, with respect to a workplace at 1236 Derbyshire Rd., Daytona Beach, FL, with a Final Order date of May 11, 2011.    29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     a.  On or about February 14, 2013, on the 6:12 pitch roof, employees installing wood sheathing were not protected from a 9 feet 7-inch fall hazard by the use of a fall protection system.
