29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Jobsite: 300 Hunting Park Ave, Philadelphia, PA - Employees working inside the building were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet above ground level without any means of fall protection. On or about 1/28/13. Note: Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
