29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4): Guardrail systems installed to meet the requirements of this section did not comply with the provisions listed in subparagraphs (i) through (xv) of this paragraph. (Guardrail system means a vertical barrier, consisting of, but not limited to, toprails, midrails, and posts, erected to prevent employees from falling off a scaffold platform or walkway to lower levels.) Worksite, west - Employee was working on a scaffold system approximately 24 feet in height. The scaffold end and midrails were not in place, exposing employee to falls on, or about, 02/19/2013. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
