29 CFR 1910.1026(d)(1): The employer with a workplace or work operation covered by this standard did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI):  (a) On or about March 6, 2013 - Building #4, one employee performing welding on stainless steel was exposed to an 8-hour time-weighted average of chromium VI at 0.0004 mg/m3 based upon a 25 minute welding sample collected on 03/06/13.  Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 455 minutes.   Note: The employer may use these results to meet the initial monitoring requirement.  Additional monitoring is required if there is a change in the production process, raw materials, equipment, personnel, work practices, or control methods that may result in new or additional exposures to chromium (VI).
