(a) 147 Waterman Street, SE, Marietta, Ga., On the back side roof of a commercial building two employees were not protected from eye injuries while laying shingles with pneumatic Hitachi (Model-N30 45AB2) Stick Framing Nail Guns as these tools were operated without safety glasses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a) 147 Waterman Street SE, Marietta, Ga., On the back side of building, employees were conducting roofing activities approximately 19 feet 5 inches high on a 6 in 12 pitch roof without fall protection.  Employees were exposed to a fall hazard.  b) 147 Waterman Street SE, Marietta, Ga., On the front of building, one employee was conducting roofing activities approximately 9 feet 5 inches high on a 6 in 12 pitch roof without fall protection.  Employees were exposed to a fall hazard.
