Such training must be provided at no cost to the employee and during working hours. The employer did not institute a training program and ensure employee participation in the program. On February 22, 2013, the Clardy Fox Medical Clinic was found to not have trained their employees in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1030 Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and no training was given to employees in the case of an exposure incident.
