Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees are exposed to trip and fall hazards while crossing over a moving conveyor:           Boston Logan International Airport:        a) U.S. Airways Baggage Conveyor Room (Terminal B):  Employees were exposed to trip and fall hazards while walking on the ED4-09 (center) moving conveyor to cross over to access other areas of the baggage conveyor room.         Feasible methods of abatement include but are not limited to:      1. Ensure compliance with with ASME B20.1-2012 safety standard, titled  "Safety Standard for Conveyors and Related Equipment" section 5.12 (d) Operation:  No person shall ride on a conveyor except on a slow-moving assembly conveyor at .4 m (80 ft/min) maximum or on a conveyor that incorporates a station specifically designed for operating personnel;       2. Provide an alternate acess to conveyors #1 and #3;      3. Ensure that employees are trained in all above procedures.
