29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(ii): The employer did not document that equipment complies with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices:      a)  On or about February 20, 2013, the employer did not ensure that newly installed ammonia refrigeration piping and valves in the Cellar 13 quad 5 fermentation unit were adequately labeled in order to provide information to employees and minimize the potential for exposure to ammonia.  Specifically, the following deficiencies were observed on the fifth floor:    1.  Anhydrous ammonia lines were not marked with the identity of the refrigerant in the lines.    2.  Anhydrous ammonia lines were not marked to indicate the physical state of the refrigerant in the lines.    3.  Anhydrous ammonia lines were not marked to indicate the relative pressure of the refrigerant in the lines.    4.  Anhydrous ammonia lines were not marked to indicate the direction of flow of the refrigerant in the lines.    6.  Valves other than expansion valves were not marked to indicate their purpose.
