29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not free and/or unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route.  On or about March 3, 2013, the exit near the table saw was obsturcted by pallets and other items exposing employees to trip and fall hazards.  Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that each exit is clear of any obstruction to prevent employees from he hazards of trip and falls.

29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment:   On or about February 26, 2013, the employer did not assess the workplace to ensure the employees were properly issued and/or using personal protective equipment while operating panel and tables saws, forklifts, and lifting heavy materials, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by falling materials.   Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees with exposure to potential hazards are issued the proper personal protective equipment while working.

Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that the employees are not exposed to injures to their feet while working.

Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that each employee operating a forklift is certified.

29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(iii):   Powered industrial truck(s), with the operator dismounted and within 25 feet of the truck still in his view, did not have the load lowered:   On or about February 26, 2013, an employee that was operating the forklift did not lower the load before dismounting to operate the panel saw, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by the forklift.   Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that when forklifts are dismounted, the loads are lowered.

Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that a written hazard communication program is developed, implemented, and maintained at the facility.
