29 CFR 1910.1001(j)(5)(i): When the building owner or employer identified previously installed ACM and/or PACM, labels or signs were not affixed or posted so that employees would be notified of what materials contain ACM and/or PACM. The employer did not attach such labels in areas where they would clearly be noticed by employees likely to be exposed, such as at the entrance to mechanical room/areas: a) Hot room, on or about 3/1/13: Labeling was not placed on asbestos containing material including, but not limited to, the hot water heater. b) Lab basement, on or about 3/1/13: Labeling was not placed on asbestos containing material including, but not limited to, AC 6 piping. c) Lab basement, on or about 3/1/13: Labeling was not placed on asbestos containing material including, but not limited to, AC 7 piping. d) Tunnel from hospital near freight elevator, on or about 3/1/13: Labeling was not placed on asbestos containing material including, but not limited to piping in walkway. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
