29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: (a) Break area; A white Black and Decker toaster oven, Magic Chef microwave and coffee pot were plugged into a relocatable power tap, violating the relocatable power taps UL listing and labeling. The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed for low amperage computer and audiovisual types of equipment, and not appliances. This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards.
