29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(ii): Each employee on a walking/working surface was not protected from tripping in or stepping into or through holes by covers. (a) R.C. Heath Construction Company, 901 Riverside Avenue, Fort Collins, CO: On and prior to March 1, 2013, the controlling employer (General Contractor) had not ensured barrier guards and/or coveres were installed around and/or over the two Dynamometer pits while employee installed an HVAC system. Condition exposed employees to accidentally stepping or tripping into the 17 inch deep pits. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.
