29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i): The employer exposed employees to toxic, hazardous substances and did not compile a complete list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using a product identifier that was referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet. a. On or about February 27, 2013, Pine Bluff Materials, located at 1030 Visco Drive, Nashville, TN, did not develop a complete inventory of hazardous materials currently being used on the dock and maintenance shop. The list did not include CRC 2-26 Spray Lube; Worthington Map Pro Propane; Cat Advanced 3 Molly Grease; Rustoleum Paints. This exposed employees to possible allergic reactions, skin and respiratory irritations. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): the employer did not maintain copies of required material safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical in the workplace: On or about February 27, 2013, Pine Bluf Materials, located at 1030 Visco Dr, Nashville, TN, exposed employees to potential acute and/or chronic chemical exposures that could cause allergic reactions, and various irritations both internal and external and did not maintain a copy of the MSDS for CRC 2-26 Spray Lube; Worthington Map Pro Propane; Cat Advanced 3 Molly Grease; Rustoleum Paints. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
