Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. 55-57 Prospect Avenue Bayonne NJ Employees were observed performing roofing rip off on a commercial construction project in close proximity to an unprotected site edge without any means of fall protection. Thereby exposing employees to an approximate 24 ft fall hazard. Violation observed on or about 02/11/2013
