29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Jose Solano dba JMS Construction on or about March 01, 2013, at the address of 512 Berlin Rd. Huron, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were adequately protected from falls while performing wood framing activities atop the third story deck of the sites main residential structure. While constructing the exterior walls, employees were exposed to falls of approximately 18 ft. to the ground below. b) Jose Solano dba JMS Construction on or about March 01, 2013, at the address of 512 Berlin Rd. Huron, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were adequately protected from falls while performing wood framing activities atop the roof deck of "villa #3." While constructing a false dormer, employees were exposed to falls of approximately 8 ft. to the ground below.
