29 CFR 1910.106(d)(6)(iii): "Spill containment." The storage area was not graded in a manner to divert possible spills away from buildings or other exposures or shall be surrounded by a curb at least 6 inches high. When curbs are used, provisions shall be made for draining of accumulations of ground or rain water or spills of flammable or combustible liquids. Drains did notl terminate at a safe location and shall be accessible to operation under fire conditions. a) Grandview @ Buckhead Height: The employer failed to ensure that a barrier or other means to control a spill was maintained around an appropriately 150 gallon storage tank of diesel fuel. Employees were exposed to the hazards of a fire/explosion while performing weekly test and other activities involving the repair and maintenance of the Cummins generator.

Employees were exposed to the hazards of a fire/explosion while performing grounds, housekeeping and maintenance activities in and around the residential facility.
