29 CFR 1915.159(c)(4): Lifelines and lanyards were not protected against cuts, abrasions, burns from hot work operations and deterioration by acids, solvents, and other chemicals: (a) In the engine room of hull 125: On March 6, 2013 and at times prior to; the employer failed to protect lanyards against cuts in that employees were wraping lanyards around cut out sections of the bulkhead, exposing employees to falls of approximately 10 feet while welding.
