29 CFR 1910.242(a): Hand and portable powered tools or equipment were not kept in safe condition: (a) Jeld-Wen, Case-out Department; The employer did not maintain portable pneumatic tools in a safe condition such as, but not limited to: (1) The work contact element safety devices were removed from the Paslode 32S16 and MU-112-N18 pneumatic staplers, and (2) The employer allowed pneumatic nail guns that were removed from operations for potentially hazardous conditions to be placed back in operation without being serviced.
