29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial trucks found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe, were not taken out of service until they had been restored to safe operating condition: (a) On April 25,2013, in the bay north of the Mill Shop Area, employees were exposed to serious struck by injuries from the 3-TCM Forklift Model # FHD3629T, in that the Emergency Brake was inoperative and did not function as required. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
