The employer did not ensure that safety engineered syringes or needles were used to administer injections. On or about February 13, 2013.     b) Exam Rooms: Employees (Technicians) collected contaminated, non-safety engineered syringes from trays and disposed of them in sharps containers potentially exposing employees to bloodborne pathogens.
