29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i): The employer exposed employees to toxic, hazardous substances and did not compile a complete list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using a product identifier that was referenced on the appropriate safety data sheet.   a. On or about 03/7/2013, Bunge North America, located at 1079 N Second St, Memphis, TN, did not develop a complete inventory of hazardous materials currently being used on site at the 1030 Visco Drive, Nashville, TN location. The list did not include Mobil Lubricating Grease and Rustoleum  Paints. This exposed employees to acute and chronic illness and disease.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain copies of the required material safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical in the workplace.  On or about 3/7/2013, Bunge North America, located at 1079 N Second Street, Memphis, TN, exposed employees to acute and/or chronic chemical exposures that could cause bodily injury and/or disease, allergic reactions, and various irritations both internal and external and did not maintain a copy of the Safety Data Sheet for Rustoleum Paint/Primer and Mobil Lubricating Grease.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
