29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Employees engaged in part washing activities using Safety-Kleen 105 Solvent at the solvent tank located along the southwest wall of the maintenance shop were exposed to eye injuries associated with corrosive hazards in that prompt access to eye flushing liquid was not provided as employees must enter the restroom facilities through a door in order to access the eyewash.
