29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed:(a) (LOCATION) (IDENTIFY EQUIPMENT AND CONDITION(S)) (STATE HAZARD(S) TO EMPLOYEE(S))     The employer failed to protect employees from potential electrical hazards associated with not having unused openings in electrical cabinets and boxes closed.  This was most recently evident during the inspection of the facility located at 4868 South 135th Street, Omaha, NE 68137, where the employer has employees using equipment that is routed through and/or receiving electrical power through boxes and cabinets that have unprotected openings.  Instances include but are not limited to:     i.  Employees charging batteries for cordless drills on a charger that is plugged into an outlet box that is missing a knockout thus exposing the employees to unprotected live wiring.   ii. Employees accessing the electrical panel with missing circuits and no blank adapters, to turn circuit breakers on/off when replacing the overhead fluorescent lighting.
