The employer shall assure that change rooms are equipped with separate storage facilities for protective clothing and equipment and for street clothes, and that these facilities prevent cross-contamination.  a.  At the work site, employees entered a clean area where they donned personal protective equipment prior to entering a pass-through into the chromium room.  Employees exited the chromium room via the pass-through area into the clean area prior to leaving the chromium area and going into the rest of the work site.   The employer did not ensure that cross-contamination of the clean area was prevented.  A wipe sample taken on the floor just outside the door from the clean changing room into the hallway contained 15.027 micrograms of Chromium (IV).  b.  At the work site, employees entered a clean area where they donned personal protective equipment prior to entering a pass-through into the chromium room.  Employees exited the chromium room via the pass-through area into the clean area prior to leaving the chromium area and going into the rest of the work site.   The employer did not ensure that cross-contamination of the clean area was prevented.  A wipe sample taken on the floor approximately three feet outside the door from the clean changing room into the hallway contained 13.3825 micrograms of Chromium (IV).  c.  At the work site, employees entered a clean area where they donned personal protective equipment prior to entering a pass-through into the chromium room.  Employees exited the chromium room via the pass-through area into the clean area prior to leaving the chromium area and going into the rest of the work site.   The employer did not ensure that cross-contamination of the clean area was prevented.  .  A wipe sample taken on the floor approximately six feet outside the door from the clean changing room into the hallway contained 17.1775 micrograms of Chromium (IV).  d. At the work site, employees entered a clean area where they donned personal protective equipment prior to entering a pass-through into the chromium room.  Employees exited the chromium room via the pass-through area into the clean area prior to leaving the chromium area and going into the rest of the work site.   The employer did not ensure that cross-contamination of the clean area was prevented.   A wipe sample taken on the floor approximately ten feet outside the door from the clean changing room into the hallway contained 38.7662 micrograms of Chromium (IV).
