1910.178(l)(3)(i)(M): Employee(s) were not trained on operating instructions, warnings, or precautions listed in the powered industrial trucks operator's manual: Rayeman Elements, Inc. : The employer is failing to ensure that employees operating powered industrial trucks are wearing the manufacturer installed seat belt as required by the operator's manual for the truck. During the inspection the Compliance Officer witnessed several forklift operators operating forklifts with out using the seat belts as required by the manufacturer. Employees are wrapping the belts around the back of the seats to prevent the equipments sensor from sounding an alarm.

Employees use the drill press to put holes in dies used on the feed pellet machines.

29 CFR 1910.272(j)(1): The employer did not develop and implement a written housekeeping program that established the frequency and the method(s) determined best to reduce accumulations of fugitive grain dust on ledges, floors, equipment, and other expose: On the South Side of the outside of the Grain Flat Storage: The employer failed to ensure that fugitive grain dust / product greater that one-eighth of an inch in depth was cleaned / removed. The door of the flat storage leaked an allowed grain stored on the inside to seep through on to the floor outside of the storage area.
