29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: a) At the facility, on March 14, 2013, and at times prior to, where there was an unsecured propane cylinder stored near the propane filling area in the parking lot. This condition exposed the employee to a struck-by hazard.

29 CFR 1910.106(d)(6)(i): Storage outside buildings were not in accordance with Table H-16 or H-17, and subdivisions (ii) and (iv) of this subparagraph: a) At the facility, on March 14, 2013, where there was not a five foot clearance on either side of a pile that contained flammable 5-gallon containers. The employer stored Polyurethane Coating 5-gallon containers in piles in the rear of the facility without maintaining a five foot distance on either side of the pile. This condition exposed employees to a fire hazard.
