29 CFR 1910.107(b)(5)(i): Visible gauges or audible alarm or pressure activated devices were not installed to indicate or insure that the required air velocity is maintained. Filter rolls were not inspected to insure proper replacement of filter media:  On or about March 15, 2013, the employer did not ensure that the average air flow was at least 100 linear feet per minute (fpm). Average velocity across the open face of the booth during initial inspection was 16.57 fpm.  a. There was no operable visible gauge or audible alarm or pressure activated device installed in the spray booth to indicate sufficient air velocity was maintained.  b. Filters were overloaded and airflow was negligible upon initial inspection.

29 CFR 1910.107(e)(2): The quantity of flammable or combustible liquids kept in the vicinity of spraying operations were not at a minimum required for operations or they exceeded a supply for one day or one shift:   On or about March 15, 2013, quantities of flammable liquids were not kept to a minimum in and around the spray booth, in that there were 10 five gallon containers and a 55 gallon drum present and the typical amount used during a shift is 4-5 gallons.
