29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(i)(F): Employee(s) who participated, or were expected to participate, in emergency response as first responders at the awareness level did not have sufficient training or sufficient experience to objectively demonstrate competency in the ability to realize the need for additional resources, and to make appropriate notifications to the communication center:     WAREHOUSE:  The employer did not ensure through conducting appropriate training and verification that the employees, participated and/or expected to participate as first responders at the awareness level had sufficient training/information and/or sufficient experience to objectively demonstrate competency in the ability to realize the need for additional resources, and make appropriate notifications to the communication center.       On/or about March 13, 2013, several employees including a managerial individual responded to a scene to contain a leaking drum containg hydrochloric acid without following appropriate steps and procedures. The employees were taken to a local hospital for an observation.     ABATED DURING THE INSPECTION.

29 CFR 1910.178(f)(2): The storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gas fuel shall be in accordance with NFPA Storage and Handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gases (NFPA No. 58-1969), which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6.    WAREHOUSE:  The propane fuel tank of the Yale powered industrial truck was not positively secured, in that pieces of cardboard, a glove and a piece of tape were used to prevent the fuel tank from rattling.                                 ABATED DURING THE INSPECTION.
