29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 1926.502(k) developed and implemented: (a) Simon Roofing Company, LLC @ 226 Pearl St., Denver, CO 80203: On 3/20/13, the controlling employer did not ensure that fall protection systems were utilized by employees engaged in roofing work. Four sub-contracted employees worked on a 7:12 pitch, single family, residential roof. This condition exposed sub-contracted employees to fall hazards of approximately 12.5 ft.
