29 CFR 1926.651(b)(4): While the excavation was opened, underground installations were not protected, supported or removed as necessary to safeguard employees: On or about 03/19/2013 at 5385 Jimmy Carter Blvd., Norcross, GA: While excavating for the installation of a new vault, the employees working in a trench were exposed to an electrical hazard. The employer failed ensure the electrical lines in the trench were safe before allowing employees to work near the exposed electrical lines.
