29 CFR 1926.153(h)(10): Containers, regulating equipment, manifolds, pipe, tubing, and/or hoses were not located to minimize exposure to high temperatures or physical damage. a) Southeast Corner of Building, Price Chopper Store #236, 4551 Milford Road, East Stroudsburg, PA: A hose containing LP-Gas for an operating Heat Wagon Model No. VG/VF700 heater was placed in a doorway and subjected to physical damage by a door used by personnel for building access and egress. Employees were exposed to contact with a flammable gas hazard, on or about March 21, 2013. b) Southeast Corner of Building, Price Chopper Store #236, 4552 Milford Road, East Stroudsburg, PA: A hose containing LP-Gas for an operating Heat Wagon Model No. VG/VF700 heater was draped over the electrical control box and subjected to physical damage by heat and high temperature from the heater. Employees were exposed to contact with a flammable gas hazard, on or about March 21, 2013. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation.

29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(I): Protection was not provided to avoid damage to flexible cords and cables used for temporary wiring which passed through doorways or other pinch points. a) Southeast Corner of Building, Price Chopper Store #236, 4551 Milford Road, East Stroudsburg, PA: An energized flexible cord (extension cord) was placed in a doorway without protection. Employees were exposed to a tripping hazard, on or about March 21, 2013. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(2) (i) and (ii), abatement certification is not required for this violation. Abatement was observed during the inspection.
