29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 200 Swedeland Road King of Prussia, PA, First Level, Near East Entrance/Exit -- On or about March 13, 2013, an employee was working near an unguarded edge, not less than 13 feet above the lower level, without any means of fall protection. Y & L CONSTRUCTION WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1926.501(b)(1) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 315887315, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 3, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON APRIL 25, 2012, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 4630 PERKIOMEN AVENUE READING, PA 19606.
