29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section. a) At the worksite, inside the service garage, on or about 3/21/13: An employee was performing maintianance work on a Pisten Bully 300 snow groomer, with the engine running, while standing in front of the left track, without having the parking break lever engaged (the brake was disabled), while having the travel indicator indexed for forward travel, and without utilizing an established procedure to control hazardous energy exposures. b) At the worksite, inside the service garage, on or about 3/21/13: An employee was performing maintianance work on a Pisten Bully 300 snow groomer, with the engine running, while kneeling/crouching on the left track, without having the parking brake lever engaged (the brake was disabled), while having the travel indicator indexed for forward travel, and without utilizing an established procedure to control hazardous energy sources.
