29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section. Excavation was not made entirely in stable rock and exceeded 5 foot in depth. a) On or about 03/21/13 CSHO was provided with a photograph of two men working in an unprotected trench, in excess of 9 foot deep with no protective system in place.
