29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: (a) Hanson Bros Golf Holdings, LLC, Maintenance Shops; The tongue guard on offhand grinding machines were not adjusted to within one quarter inch of the abrasive wheel, such as, but not limited to: (1) Hudson Golf Course maintenance shop; A Milwaukee grinder tongue guard was set approximately 1-1/8 inch from the abrasive wheel, and (2) River Falls Golf Course maintenance shop; A Dewalt grinder tongue guard was set approximately 1/2 inch from the abrasive wheel.
