This determination shall be made in accordance with either paragraph (d)(2) or paragraph (d)(3) of this section.    a) The employer failed to perform initial air monitoring on employees working within the Tool Room/Welding Department who were potentially exposed to hexavalent chromium (CRVI) while welding on stainless steel.   There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
