29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1)(i): Each platform unit (e.g., scaffold plank, fabricated plank, fabricated deck, or fabricated platform) was not installed so that the space between adjacent units and the space between the platform and the uprights were no more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide, except where the employer can demonstrate that a wider space is necessary. a) At the back of building, on or about March 25, 2013 and at times prior to, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working from a tubular welded frame scaffold which had a gap opening more than 1 inch. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and which also includes the following: a) At the back of building, on or about March 25, 2013 and at times prior to, the employer did not develop a written hazard communication program for employees who use chemicals, such as but not limited to Argos masonry and Mortar cement, which exposed workers to minor skin irritations. Nicasio Salazar dba Salazar Masonry, was previous cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 310993969, citation 1, item number 6a and was affirmed as final order on February 19, 2010, with respect to workplace located at Hwy 93, Pelham GA 31779. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED.
