29 CFR 1910.24(c): Fixed stairway(s) were not designed and/or constructed to carry a load of five times the normal live load anticipated or the strength to carry safely a moving load of 1000 pounds: a.) Piasans Mill, Inc. located at 255 Riverside Dr. Tiffin, OH 44883; On or about March 26, 2013, the employer did not assure employees were protected from falls from an unstable stair on the kitchen staircase in that, on December 15, 2012, the top step caved in when an employee attempted to access the dry goods storage area in the basement.
