On or about 03/14/2013, the employer removed 1500 Linear feet of pipe wrap, 4000 square feet floor tiles and 4 square feet of transite board out in the open.

On or about 03/14/2013, the employer removed 1500 Linear feet of pipe wrap, 4000 square feet floor tiles and 4 square feet of transite board without the required monitoring.

29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(1)(iii): The employer did not use work practices in all operations covered by 29 CFR 1926.1101, regardless of the levels of exposure, in the form of prompt clean-up and disposal of wastes and debris contaminated with asbestos, in leak-tight containers: At the Bricker Building located at 314-318 Broadway Street, Hannibal Missouri, where Class I and II work was conducted: a) The employer did not perform prompt clean up of the asbestos debris. A bulk sample collected after the abatement work, revealed that the debris contained 20% Chrysotile asbestos. b) Some of the asbetos containing materials such as pipes disposed off in the dumpster at the site were not sealed in leak-tight containers.

Where feasible, installed asbestos products shall contain a visible label. At the Bricker Building, located at 314 -318 Broadway Street, Hannibal Missouri, where the employer conducted asbestos removal work, the asbestos containing plastic bags were not labeled . On or about 03/15/2013, the employer removed 1500 Linear feet of pipe wrap, 4000 square feet of floor tiles and 4 square feet of Transite board and disposed the acm containing bags without the required warning sign.
