Scaffold at east wall - during stucco operations, employee(s) were exposed to a 5'-19' fall hazard, in that, there was an opening between the planks up to 27". Violation observed on or about 3/29/13. The JR Stucco was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314100827, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/20/10, with respect to a workplace located at 1770 Drew St. Clearwater, Florida 33755-2220.

29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used. Crossbraces were used as a means of access: a. Scaffold at east wall - during stucco operations, employee(s) were exposed up to a 19' fall hazard, in that, crossbraces were used as a means for access on to the scaffold and a ladder was not used. Violation observed on or about 3/29/13. The JR Stucco Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314100287, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/20/10, with respect to a workplace located at 1770 Drew St. Clearwater, Florida 33755-2220.
