29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: (a) On the southeast corner of the intersection of Airport Rd. and Newman Road: On April 1, 2013 and at times prior to; the employer failed to enforce the fall protection requirements while employees were working from an aerial lift, exposing employees to falls of approximately 14 feet. Leslie H. Compton dba Compton Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316081033, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 25, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at Highway 114, Lyerly, GA 30730.

29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: (a) On the southeast corner of Airport Blvd. and Newman Rd.: On April 1, 2013 and at times prior to; the employer failed to guard all protruding reinforcing steel that extended approximately 4 feet from the ground, exposing employees to impalement hazards while working on a roof that was 14.1 feet from the ground. Leslie Compton Dba Compton Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926(701(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 310992433, citation number 1, item number 8 and was affirmed as a final order on September 25, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 8489 Hwy 82, Alapaha, GA, 31622.
