On or about Aprl 2, 2013, an employee was using a pneumatic nail gun installing framing components in the trusses was not wearing eye potection, exposing himself to flying nails or debris.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a.  On or about April 2, 2013, on the 10:12 pitch roof, employees installing framing components in order to secure roof trusses were not protected from the hazard of falling 17 feet by the use of guardrails, safety nets, personal fall protection or any alternative fall protection.  b.  On or about April 2, 2013, on the 8:12 pitch roof, employees installing framing components in order to secure roof trusses were not protected from the hazard of falling 9 feet 10 inches by use of guardrails, safety nets, personal fall protection or any alternative fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:   a.  On or about April 2, 2013, inside the house, employees used the top step of an 8-foot stepladder to egress and access the upper plate, exposing themselves to a 9 feet 6-inch fall hazard.  b.  On or about April 2, 2013, on the north side of the house, an employee was standing on the step next to the top of a 6-foot stepladder while installing framing components around the exterior eaves, exposing himself to a 6 feet fall hazard.
