29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): The employer did not ensure that electrical equipment was free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. On or about 4/1/13, the employer did not ensure the 240/480 volt electrical equipment mounted on the wooden board was stable in that the board was left unsecured against the back wall and was not stabilized in a way to prevent the equipment from being knocked or turning over. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.405(e)(1): Cabinets, cutout boxes, fittings, boxes, and panelboard enclosures in damp or wet locations were not installed so as to prevent moisture or water from entering and accumulating within the enclosures. On 4/1/13, at the Athens job site, employees were exposed to electrical hazards as a 240/480 volt electrical panel was not protected from rain water and water splash hazards as it was located in an area of an unfinished building at the job site. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. On 4/1/13, the employer did not provide a training program for emploeyes exposed to fall hazards and who have been provided fall protection and required to use the protection by the company. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
